SC12048 E-Motion 認識情緒

Children react spontaneously to the emotions they see and recognise by acting them out and imitating them.  They compare the pictures, talk about the facial expressions and try to explain the emotions which are represented.  While telling the stories which could be behind the faces, the children learn to express clearly and to put their thoughts and feelings into words.

Through playful handling of the pictures the children should learn that they may show and talk about the emotions they are feeling.  They should be aware that emotions cause a response from others.  A happy face causes joy, a smile comes back to you.  However emotions can also shock and hurt, for example when anger turns into rage or when amusement degenerates into malicious fun or even into mocking.

Learning goals, learning steps:

  • Promoting social competence
  • Recognising and naming feelings and their nuances
  • Accurate observation
  • Expanding vocabulary
  • Promoting speech competence
  • Working on dialogues and plays

Contents:

  • 10 picture stories with 7 individual cards making a total of 70 cards
  • size: 9 x 9 cm
  • pictures show portraits of 10 people of different ages and races.
The close up faces often evoke different interpretations.  Since emotions are usually complex and full of nuances, the feelings listed can easily be expanded and described or arranged differently.
