The everyday life of a young nursery child is shaped by continuously reoccurring routines and activities.  Pepi’s experiences at nursery provide an insight into these different routine activities in the form of short picture sequences, the pictures of which can be combined freely.  In the activities, Pepi takes on responsibilities, develops enjoyment for learning and finds opportunities to express himself in a group context.

 

The scenes show what can happen during a typical day at nursery.  The transitions from one scene to the next are fluent.  This way, some of the cards which are used at the end of one scene, can also be placed before the first card of the following scene and thus further extend that scene.  This means that the length of a scene can be varied according to individual abilities and needs.  Also, a sequence can be lengthened by combining it with the scene that follows it.
