Seven fantasy stories and seven stories taken from everyday life are presented up to their climax. The story ending remains open for the children to find.
Open-story telling not only facilitates vocabulary knowledge, narrative ability, free speaking and logical thinking, it also supports imagination, development of ideas and enjoyment in making up stories as thee is never just one solution, but many possibilities as to how a story might continue or end. Skilled questioning can be used to carefully support a child in finding an ending to given story. Suggested questions can be found following the plot narrative of each story.
If the children are working in groups, their various suggestions will result in interesting discussions.
