With the extraordinary Lake Tahoe, California as the backdrop, and in the setting of some of the most picturesque locations across the “Sunshine State”, these two Ultimate Choice programs follow 2 groups of eight teenagers through carefully orchestrated extreme adventures.

Every episode presents a heart stopping extreme adventure along with an opportunity to discuss that experience and its application to major real life issues. These experiences then help each cast member develop his or her own individual conviction about each of the moral issues. Each storyline dives head first into today’s youth culture – highlighting topics right out of the lives of young people everywhere.

This curriculum represents one of the best and most effective teaching tools for young people today using the most effective teaching methods that they say have affected their lives. Young people like to see their peers involved during the event activities and can relate to the discussion topics while appreciating the personal talks especially from those cast members brave enough to admit their mistakes and change the direction in their lives.

LAKE TAHOE SERIES EPISODE TITLES:

Episode 1: Cliff Jumping

The adventure begins as the group of eight teenagers hikes a mile into the mountains to experience Emerald Pools and a dramatic 80-foot leap of faith off a cliff. The drama unfolds with one teen contemplating life and death after nearly hitting the rocks, and 3 others facing the decision to go on to the next level jump or stop.

Episode 2: Ultimate Obstacle Courses

The mountain adventure involves the teens pairing up to tackle a scenic but difficult obstacle course at Emerald Pools followed by some of the trips biggest thrills in trying the new sport called Mountain Scootering. They find their day filled with bumps and spills along with a rescue mission for two of them.

Episode 3: Flying Trapeze

In this event the team members individually perform stunts on the flying trapeze with the aid of an instructor and watchful eye of a catcher. Many quickly overcome their fear of heights as they learn what it's like to face the big net below and mimic the Flying Calendars.

Episodes 4 & 5: Ropes Course Parts 1 & 2

Teamwork and unity are tested to the max in a brutal mountain ropes course. The teens individually must compete on the Alpine Tower climb and the Pamper Pole. Both events require skill and agility along with overcoming the fear of heights anyone might have. This episode brings some intense fireworks as two of the teens are overcome by the emotions of the day.

Episode 6: Extreme Paintball 

This event calls upon the eight teens to engage in a variety of paintball games played both as teams and in individual competition. However, paintball on the top of a mountain takes an extreme twist, as two of the most unlikely cast members square off and tempers flare.

FLORIDA SERIES EPISODE TITLES:

Episode 1: Skycoaster

This event begins with a road trip to Orlando for the eight teens and continues with an unexpected adventure from dizzying heights… just a little 300-foot fall from the world’s largest Skycoaster! Forced to overcome any fears of heights, the team members must take a 140 foot free-fall straight down off the 300 foot high pole in a harnessed swing.

Episode 2: Surfing Competition 

Joining the team members are three surfing professionals who give the group a chance to hang ten at a secret surf spot called “The Blowhole” off Florida’s east coast. Endurance and the spirit to persevere are put to the test for all as they compete for the prize of a brand new surfboard.

Episode 3: Boat Relay 

The nation's oldest city, St. Augustine is the setting for this event as the teens take to kayaks, sailboats, and jet skis for a frantic race against time and each other. A driving rainstorm and some interesting boy-girl pairings add to the fun. Teamwork is the key to success.

Episode 4: Confidence Course 

Greeted out of bed in the morning by two drill sergeants with an attitude, the teens are taken on an incredible journey both physically and mentally. They are challenged to the max on an extreme obstacle course at Camp Blanding, Florida. They are forced to pull together to survive the course and the challenge presented by a surprise competitor.

Episode 5: Water Challenge

Continuing their adventure at Camp Blanding, Florida, the teens are taken “hostage” by a pair of “military police” and endure a wild, blindfolded ride to meet the orchestrators of this misadventure. When sanity is restored, the team members get one more challenge … an incredibly difficult military maneuver of capsizing a Zodiac boat.
